JAC MOTORS Drives Decarbonization of
Transport at Hannover IAA

Hannover, September 16, 2024 – Today, at the Hannover IAA Transportation, one of the world’s
most significant trade fairs for transport and logistics, JAC MOTORS unveiled its new range of
electric commercial vehicles. This launch marks a milestone for the Chinese company in its
European expansion, reaffirming its commitment to transport decarbonization and sustain-
able mobility.
With 60 years of experience in vehicle manufacturing, JAC MOTORS has established itself as an
international benchmark in the industrial segment. The company operates 27 factories and R&D
centers worldwide and has achieved a notable presence in Europe. It was the first Chinese
brand to introduce electric trucks in France and has expanded its reach to key markets such as
Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Switzerland, Norway, and Italy. In Spain, JAC MOTORS leads the
zero-emission industrial vehicle sector, capturing a 24% market share thanks to its distributor
Oliva Motor.
JAC MOTORS’ participation in IAA Transportation 2024 is a key step in its strategy to lead the
future of sustainable industrial transport. With a strong focus on zero-emission technology, the
company has developed electric vehicles that combine efficiency, safety, and comfort, reduc-
ing carbon footprints and promoting cleaner cities.

The IAA Transportation 2024 has seen significant media and supplier attendance, underscoring
its relevance in the sector. The well-attended fair has been the ideal setting for JAC MOTORS to
showcase its commitment to sustainable mobility and its vision of leading the transition to
greener industrial transport.
At its exhibition at Hannover IAA, JAC MOTORS revealed three new fully electric models specif-
ically designed for the European market: two light trucks and a 4x4 pickup. These units incor-
porate the latest in battery technology, comfort, and advanced driver assistance systems.

- Wheelbase (three options): 3365 mm, 3845 mm, 4475 mm.
- Payload: 4.4 tons before bodywork.
- Battery: CATL 100.46 kWh.
- Payload: 2 tons before bodywork.
- Battery: CATL 77.28 kWh.
These light trucks offer ranges of up to 220 km and are equipped with advanced driver assis-
tance systems such as emergency braking and lane departure warning, complying with the
strict new European regulation GSR II. Additionally, their compact electric system allows for
acceleration from 0 to 50 km/h in just 7 seconds, while the high-density CATL monoblock bat-
tery ensures reliability and safety.
Throughout its history, JAC MOTORS has championed technological innovation and sustain-
ability. The company, which has formed strategic alliances with Volkswagen and NIO, stands
out for its focus on electric vehicles and emerging technologies such as hydrogen fuel cells and
rapid charging systems. Its future vision centers on contributing to the creation of cleaner and
more efficient freight transport.
