Recently, the journalist learnt from JAC that during the first half year, JAC has managed to sell more than 138,000 commercial vehicles-up by 52% compared with the previous year whose speed was much higher than the industrial average growth rate-among 113,400 units of which were light-duty trucks (up by 46%), 13000 units of which were heavy-duty trucks (up by 136%), while 11800 units of which were chassis (up by 59%). The sales of all commercial vehicles have over fulfilled half of 2010 sales target.

When asked about the reason why JAC commercial vehicles could sell so well, the relevant responsible person answered that it should attribute to Chinese good market environment as well as the prosperous logistics. To JAC, new developing points have been cultivated, such as the sales of 4DA1 high-end duty trucks have increased rapidly; heavy-duty truck tractors have achieved a breakthrough, the self produced engine and chassis have become a hot sale, etc. All these have promoted the first half year sales to a new height.

As the responsible person disclosed that JAC commercial vehicle business would welcome the milestone event of the 1,000, 0000th light-duty trucks rolling off the production line in the second half year. From 1968 till now, from the 1st light-duty truck to the 1,000, 000th light-duty truck, the accumulation is not only the time and number, but also the pursuit of more than better quality. During the second half year, high-end duty truck N721 will also come to the final roll-off production count down. It is believed that the strategy of ‘doing well in sales, service and spare parts, making full use of commercial vehicle and passenger car vehicle, winning in the end sales’ will put forward JAC commercial vehicle to a greater breakthrough.
