On 28th June, 2016 Shanghai International New Energy Exhibition was held in Shanghai New International Exhibition Center. JAC with its all series of new energy vehicles iEV5、iEV6S、Light-duty (i3) and other models exhibited in this auto show.

In the morning of 9 am, ‘2016 Shanghai new energy vehicle industry summit'was held in W3 hall of Shanghai new international exhibition center, which created a promotion platform for globalization new energy vehicle industry.

Mr. Wang Xia, Branch President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Auto Industry, Mr. Zhang Jinhua, Deputy director& secretary general of China Automotive Engineering Institute and other guests attended the summit to discuss the develop trend of new energy vehicles.

Mr. Wang Fanglong, the director of JAC new energy vehicle R&D management department made a speech about the introduction of JAC new energy vehicle achievement. Over the next 15 years', JAC will cooperate with global strategic partners to develop the core technology of extending the endurance mileage, safety, using life and low-temperature performance to push pure-electric vehicle for long distance using.

New iEV6S, More Powerful

Through 10 years development and 'six generations technology and two generations products', JAC iEV6S is the masterpiece of second-generation pure electric vehicle which could represent the highest new energy vehicle technology level of JAC and the driving comfort is better than fuel –consumption vehicle. Equipped with an 18,650 Lithium-ion NMC battery capable of traveling over 300km at peak performance, JAC’s iEV6S owns 85kw power and 270Nm torque output to ensure the high performance driving.

JAC iEV6S has equipped with charging insulation technology so that its range mileage has a very small difference even under the condition of -20℃ temperature. Meanwhile, it also has equipped with 8 inch capacitive touch screen multimedia, intelligent speech human-computer interaction system, mobile phone APP smart + connected and other high-tech equipment, which will bring high-tech driving experience to customers.

Independent innovation, leading technology

The essence of competition is technology. Opening the development history of JAC, we could find that learning technology, creating technology and consistent enhancement is the gene of JAC. Recent years, on basis of NAM process and five-level R&D system, JAC has insisted on innovating technology and trying best to master core technology which has formed

Integrating current new-energy industry mature technology, from iEV1-iEV7, the constant technology upgrade not only satisfied the requirement of customers but also accumulated amount of basic date for products development.

Taking electronic control for example, JAC has mastered the core technologies of vehicles' battery module, motor and electronic control and same key technologies such as power steering, electric braking and energy recovery, especially, the breakthrough of the battery thermal management technology, intrinsically safe management techniques. It has formed the positive development process of connecting with international advanced auto & technology corporations.

Meanwhile, around the key technology of new energy 'Three big electricity, six little electricity', JAC is strengthening the layout of industry chain. JAC has established the joint venture corporation with Huating Power to produce BMS and battery assembly and established joint venture Corporation with Juyi Automation to produce motor and electric control system. In April, JAC signed strategic co-operation frame agreement with NextEV corporation to create a world-class supply chain system.

According to i.EV+strategy plan, JAC new energy vehicles sales volume will cover 30% of the total sales volume in 2025 and formed the new layout of joint development of energy-saving vehicle, new energy vehicle and intelligent network vehicle.
